we are planing to add construction aids to the production process.
the prod will be separated into preconstructed bits of 100 manpower, (for example: 30 Mosquitoes and 70 fighters) with a thoroughfully description, what this combination is good for. we will call them construction-aid-cards
this way, newbies will have access to interesting fleetsetups and combinations , that will serve them more fun right at the beginning.
it will be possible for everyone to invent such combinations and add a description to it and a picture.
every card will have a voting system behind it, where users can vote for the complexity level and power of each card |

Blast em 100 mp
10 bounty hunter
60 fighter
this combination is used to blast big ships without class I / II and without cycplos support.
the bounty hunter is small but deadly |

haha. nice reply 5 years later : )
its a cool idea, but isn't 100 mp for these cards too low.
I mean you would need to stack 50 cards to get all mp used.
I'd go for 250 mp cards or something like that.
Otherwise is a nice feature. It could use that drag and drop system that you guys already made for the fleets screen. You just drag construction cards instead of ships. |

How about descending order...500 for class 1, 250 for class 2 150, for class 3, and nothing for class 4...or something simular... |

i think the mp should be completely unrestricted , depending on the construction .
the 100 mp for the bounty hunter - fighter thing makes totally sense.
but for many other things you will need really different mp |

oh great. if the cards are unlimited and players can save their own custom cards then its gonna be way awesome.
you can either save out small clusters of ships or you can save out entire armadas.
i can already imagine how this could look and work with the drag n drop system.
i like. |

If these cards are indeed customizable then I like this idea alot. If they will not be then it is a nice still a nice novelty for newbs but not that interesting (though still nice and time saving in some circumstances) for someone familiar with basic combos and are interested in designing unique and complex fleet setups. For the vet it could save alot of time, especially if the cards could.. How do I put this as simply as possible.. Automatically load ships into production that are missing from the designated card. It would be useful for someone like me that plans out their ships to the exact MP and has to replace them as they are destroyed. Meaning alot of times I am checking my list, checking it twice and busting out the calculator when in doubt everytime I lose ships. Not exactly a huge mechanical flaw but it would save time, and browser games are played by people on the go, right? Plus we all know "time is money." This also reminds me of an idea for a new tech I had, if it hasent already been submitted. _________________
