Shade, quite frankly, for some unknown reason yet to surface, I think that you actually might know that defending is one thing but attacking - another. For defense it doesn't take ANY ammount of genius. At leas there's next to no time-coordinating in the defense, and you know that (or do you?).

Or does defending take at least some thought? What was the reason you didn't change even ONE fleet there? You saw most of us on DSP, you KNEW what was coming and yet you didn't do anything.

And finally, I think that "inspiring" is not quite the word that actually describes the effect of those words.

The fleets were changed many many times at our leaders base, if were not blind to see it.
And yes we saw you coming, and yes we knew what fleets you had and yes we knew we would get rumbled.

But what was there to do? run away like little babies and change our leader again ? i'm sure you would of done this, but we have some honor and decided to stay and fight despite knowing how it would end.

getting rid of the flag is more of a releif than anything.. i don't think me and my members have ever been so bored as we were these 9 days sitting defending that flag.

CTF was a great idea, but unfortunatly brings much bordom and inactivity to the game.
We won't be claiming any more flags, it's not worth it. Rather have fun than points.

Jeez, you always find a way to wriggle out of a tight spot don't you. Just face it, you can't take an organised assault.

*sigh*

if u didn t want the flag you could have left and kept thew score and claimed our flag so you would have got a lot of score.
to stand and fight was honourable and stupid at the same time.
and can you plz be honest with us and give us a little credit plz

Lets not overplay or underplay. It was a great battle, spacetrace has seen few bigger. By a smidgen I missed out on TO's flag, but that seems to be a habit I have gotten into.

Lets have more of em, Spacetrace was designed for this stuff I think, just wish wiz was here.

Oh whatever, be like that if you want to... Seems as if a few misjudgements have been made.

Well, nothing much, I mean what POSSIBLY could be done if you know for AT LEAST 36 hours before impact WHAT's coming?! You're right about that one, NOTHING could be done. It takes inhuman effort to retreat and modify a fleet withing 36 hours with TWG.

And yeah, about the *little babies* stuff - I'd personally like to congratulate you, oh brave TO, for making someone in 48 hours PROTECTION a leader (Coolrunner). This was and probably will be the bravest thing I've ever seen.

Or maybe not - changing him almost right after the protection lifted might be considered a little braver, but I can't be the judge of that. So, what do the rest think : Was the electing a protected leader braver, or was the change after the protection lifted braver? I vote for the first.

It was nice fighting indeed, and i would probably used even more *evil* tactics to keep others from the flag so... LoL

A few members have RL issues and also some were at 100% so we are in a transition period right now.
