uh, im a member but I earn money by washing cars and mowing lawns. And a eight year old should not be playing runescape for 5$ a month. He should spend money on video games like care bears or something. He is EIGHT YEARS!

I dunno where you live ... but here in Australia for some reason computer violence is kinda accepted, its not really that real ... Runescape for one isnt a very violent game there are alot worse games that someone at 8 could be playing. I really dont think there is a problem there your got to teach kids that alright in video games but not in real life.

Some of those fairy tales are pretty violent ... what about the bible that is very violent as well... Violence is part of human culture ....

Anywho back on topic:

Why do you want rounds back so much I started after rounds... I dont understand what is so different about it, can someone explain?

What are the rounds anyway? I have no idea.

And Runescape is not violent I know but a 8 year old should not be using
5$ a month for a game.

well, a 50 dollar video game lasts awhile, and is much more easily accessible, and runescape is just a HORRIBLE game, and it should close down, my friends play it too, but they soon all realized how bad it was

but now they play maple story -_-;; another sucky game

how come i always start playing about half a year earlier, and it gets boring right wen they get started?

I joined in April of 2004 so I dont know how long that was after rounds. But from what I had and have heard of them, they sound so much cooler than the evolution we have now.
Spyder and JaM had a large debate a few months ago as to why we should bring rounds back and to quote a player "even those who have not played rounds enjoy them better".
Now I understand that the Admin does not have alot of time on his hands, but as JaM has said, he created CTF and some other things... so why couldnt you let someone like him mod the Rounds?
One thing I would absolutely love to see in Rounds would be the end... when all fleets are sent to the Black Hole.
Now, I man, in all honesty.. HOW COOL IS THAT?
Admin needs to look at the evidence, at one stage there were 600 players in this game (I dont ever remember seeing that, but then agian I joined after rounds) but notice that the number of players has decreased ever since the fall of rounds?
Indeed something has to be done. Spacetrace has survived for nearly 4 years now, but if the numbers keep falling, it wont last another 4 years.
Personally, I became very bored of this game, thus the reason I left. And I must say that a change like this would bring some of the older players (who I would love to meet ) back, and would also bring some new players in.
I'm glad I stopped by, keep on killin' chillin',
Methi

LOL i think you both never played rounds? Well as i know, that thing in wich everyfleet fleet went to the BH happened only in the last round. Also the points that were winned or losed there didnt counted to the top ten...
But now it would be useless...we have 3 planets!:S

@promethius, yep i started a few topics in wich i was asking rounds...So there always have been a lot of pressure over the amdins. I am saying this cuz i would also add(to evans) That if we give to Jam this responsability we will take him a lot of HIS time, also is a decission of the admin, doing that would mean giving the entire game to Jam...
