i dont want a new round just yet i am still learning this game and i like the allience im in because they help me out im learning alot and i hope i can stay in touch if this thing ends..... but i guess starting new would be ok i think i know enough to start over i was completly clueless at the beggining

Elder players??? Hmm, I think a lot of the experienced players dont fall into that category, even if some of us do

Yes the black hole and tech planets are good, but I found that the recent tech planet did not attact very much attention, although the black hole continues to change hands regularly.

But some of the really good players, Untouchable, Zaphod, Obi Wan,etc. have never been sited at the hole, perhaps there needs to be more individual 'rewards' to attract such players. Not sure what, points special ships that can only be used if you hold something, maybe something like that. Perhaps there is a warp planet somewhere, that if held, has technology that can increase your warp speed, that would be worth fighting for.

What about mining colonies?
Planets that hold special materials needed for some ship building? One can only build these ships while holding that planet.
(would be like some sort of tech-planet that you have to visit each time you want to build certain ships).
