|
|
I sent a fleet to Alpha 3. My fleet was attacked by an opponent.
When I put his name in my comlist, It says offline since 2d 4h and it shows INACTIVE???????
Im told that this is happening often now and its a MAJOR PROBLEM.
Im also told that its most likely caused from people who just started an account and havent really loged on yet.
Any ideas??? |

Well it is when you lose your Eye because of ONE fighter.
but there is still the problem of him being "Inactive" after only 2 days. |

The player shows and "inactive" even though only 3 days have passed since last log on. I have encountered this before the last time being yesterday...
http://www.spacetrace.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5301
...that was the 2nd such incident with 'IT' ...it visited one of those about 4 days prior...on dsp 'IT' appeared to be sitting in empty space...but, one of my members eta'ed there and lost to a base, 1 fleet and 'IT' (in that order)
I bet a dsp or eye will show alpha 3 as being clear. Have seen that before there too. Actually I lost an eye in the sky rig there that way on my last evo. I eta'ed on 4 unseen "ghost fleets" all "inactive" players
Also, early in that evo, I hit two fleets sitting off about 6 sectors off my base...an obvious eray-dom start up. When I eta'ed on that point I battled the eray doms (the 10 sgs, spectre, cruiser and the other one with 250 destroyers) AFTER I battled an unseen base and unseen myc defender startups. That cost me my fleets (mostly apollos for those c2 I had on dsp) along with 1600 points and I had to have Renee send most of her mp to assist me.
Took us 2 days to clear those out and for me to recover my point losses.
Those myc defender start up's never showed on dsp or our eye setups....but, they sure were there...
This does not happen often but, happens enough that Renee and I have a procedure for dealing with it...ie...my eta on 'IT' yesterday...and in the last week has become routine. We now eta defensively or cloaked on every new player that shows on allliance incomings _________________ "Destruction leads to a very rough road

I just lost my "eye" to an invisible fleet as well. Opponent logged in 2 days ago.
How can the fleet be completely invisible? New type of cloak ? |

when players are inactive, they go to sub-space. You only see that the fleets are in sub space if their at their home planet, and you are there as well. The answer is to show the fleets in sub space. This is probably not done, cause its useless, but ofcourse its not, if this happens.
