depends on how you play, if you use 3 fleets often, then thats best, but if you usually use 1 or 2 fleets, it could be handy to have 4 probes.

i voted for 3 fleets, i never used 4 probes. using 2 fleets often would make u have extra defence in youre 3th fleet. Putting there a nice group of pengs in, thats always nice.

| I think it's better to have three fleets because then you can attack with two fleets and have tow fleets defending youre homeplanet. |

if your a newbie then you'd want to choose 'final exploration', only because you have more of a chance of a fair battle with another noob, instead of battles with nearby planets, which noobs are likely to do.

I prefer 3 fleets , makes your fleets a bit more flexibel , also you could use 3 fleet as an eye fleet wich will give U enough to see
