there were a lot of comments about, that you should not re-open old topics.
this is not correct!
for example a suggestion that is old but not moved to "old topics" then it is still active, if a topic in the inventions area wasn't moved to "impossible inventions" it is OK to post in and reopen old topics there too; and a bug that was not solved is important to be re-opened
it always depends on the content of a topic, if it would be worth to post in although it is old.
some good ideas are lost somewhere in the past.
so feel free to post in every topic in
"New Technology Inventions",
"Possible New Inventions"
"Bug Reports"
and
"Suggestions"
noone has the right to complain there. (sure: only if you really have to say something important)
also if you have a bug or a question that wasn`t answered yet completely, then post there.
in other words, it is always ok to post in old topics, just think before you post, if it could be something very old, that needs no more discussion.
thats the idea of a Forum
the only forums, where you should not post in old topics (unless it is really important) are:
Discussion and Recruitment
old topics
Impossible inventions
Multi reports
and
General Discussion

Admin...this is so true...going through old topics sometimes raises questions never really answered clearly.
Do you think it's possibe we are being "invaded" by marketeers ? Usually they have some sort of link to some website somewhere in thier posts and sometimes thier posts make no sense at all...like "spacebot" has gone rogue in the forums ?
Is it possible that's why lots of these new "old" topics keep re-appearing?
Of course you would have a more informed idea.
