Hi Everyone,

I am not sure how much work this is.
How about when an era ends one new ship from each race gets added.
So five ships would be added at a time.

There are many ships that have been on planets and tested so they could be added to the master list of ships that race can build. Also adding it into the tech tree.

Admin is this a possiblity?

That could be an alright idea, but after a while what kind of new ships could anyone think of without unbalancing the game? The idea of a new ship being implemented would be good, but maybe it could be one that you could grab at a planet so you don't have a massive amount of ships coming in every era end.

Hi Jack09,

I am glad to see you are still reading the forumn and I hope you are still playing ST. Thanks for posting a reply.

My thought was that the ships added would be left up to admin. Starting with some of the early designs that were voted on long ago. That since there are 5 races one would be added to each race. That people who had given up on the game might come back for a while to use their inventions. Also new players who were designing ships would stay to possibly use their inventions. Not every era would need to get new ships.

Many ships have been placed on planets but they are so few and far apart it is hard to get a fleet together.

Jack09 you designed several ships would you like to see a few of them in the game?

Lol, i designed a few, mostly to combat what i thought was noob tactics, like the eagle fleet and some other fleet combinations, gosh i cant remember what it was called, destroyed like 100 class 1 ships or something of the sort, and the other destroyed like 10 class 2 ships, they were all class 3 ships, something to smash those kinds of overwhelming tactics, but i found later that destroyers can crush eagles, and cruisers can molest those overwhelming lower class 3 ships, but eagles with those one things in the fleet, i cant remember what it was called, that upped their damage or something, that was a good combo that i tried to destroy, other than that i only made like one or two ships that were sort of unbalanced.
