I have an attack code for my entire alliance, lets say "attack". If I go help his planet, I will attack it unless i change it to defend. Then will attack his fleet with his code still on "attack" and mine now on defend. Now he has to change his code to defend as well. This makes group attacking complicated and annoying. Is there anyway to keep our "attack" code and not attack allies planets? Or simply just have it that allies never attack each other regardless of attack code? |

Your alliance leader can set an attack code in his alliance window, then, you will never attack allies on allied planets on code. But, you will attack friends who come to defend you on either blue or they will attack your base if you share your code. |

If you're talking about alliance-protection, you both should use the alliance attack-code.
Therefore you won't fight his fleet nor his base.
If you're not talking about alliance, but a friend protection, then all the fleets which
will participate should be on defense.
