I am currently the top player.
I got top spot legitimately. Yesterday I defended my rival for top spot against a pathetic and obvious attack from multi's. Some have been named in Forum

Why do you think I did this?

Prior to this-:
I caught him legitimately defending another player.
He passed me again.
Then again. Then all of a sudden I was way ahead.

If you would like to help against some multis, so cool and I can have a more interesting race for top spot, please pm message me ingame or here.

I would prefer to be messaged by alliance leaders or MoC's
as I get lots of messages and can't answer them all.

I would like you to attack the multi planets.

Cheating takes a few forms, but all revolves around multiple accounts..

The reason it is against the rules to log in for another player is that once you do that, you can also move there ships attack etc etc.

In past rounds when I have been an alliance leader I was frequently asked by members "can u look after my account for a couple of days please?" Or "I am doing an attack on XXX but I have to go to school, can you move my fleets back after please?"

This puts the player asked in a very difficult position. If you say no, the other player thinks you are an asshole, and they ask someone else. If you say yes, you are cheating.

In the past I used to say yes.

Nowadays I say "I will cloak your planet for you, nothing more" Technically this is still cheating, and, if Admin say so, I will not do that either. Last round my alliance leader and I had many debates over what was alright, and what was really cheating. We decided cloaking only was the best compromise we could think of.( I hope I remember that right, he will shoot me if I misquote him)

If you want to help stamp out multis, dont ask for this sort of help, it puts too much information in the hands of one player.

OK... Now, there is one thing that needs to be done for such a hunt to be possible...

There must be some form of organisation, yet i think an alliance is too much.

I suggest we do it like this, when a multy is found:

1. We post here his name, coords, etc. like it was done before.
2. Some will attack him, some will attack others.

This is the only flexible way of doing it - in that case each "hunter" would attack the
cheater closest to him...

The way for doing that is to use the same attack-code for all who're going hunting, no matter where or whom... That way there won't be the need of a special code for every
hunting party, and the need of coordination of each assault is gone...

But a problem should be solved - if a player wants to attack with us, yet he doesn't know
the code, what should be done?

Thanks for the post Metody, I was hoping a few more players would respond maybe they will.

The only think I am not comfortable with, is the posting of co ords, it is always possible to be wrong and I think the generally accepted rule of not posting co ords in forum should be adhered to.

Lets face it, a mass attack on a honest player is not cheating or wrong, but I think we should try to avoid it in this case. Just my opinion of course.

Indeed, the posting of coords is not good...

Maybe, first the DSP data without the coords, and when it's decided whether he's a cheater
or not, if he is, then the coords...

But the other option - asking through PM about the coords has it's weak points too, as
then you wouldn't choose the closest multy to you... Unless you ask about all the coords,
and that wouldn't be very useful, as when you ask somebody, he thinks you'll participate in
the attack...

@Whityz0r We must never , ever let multis distract us from the really fun tactical part of this game.

Please never forget, they are pathetic. Real battles against real players are simply much more interesting.

For example my alliance fought to an extent in the species/antispecies thing, it was fun but not really of much interest. I think only the Lexx alliance really suffered and that was because they are a genuine alliance.

Recently my alliance has had interesting battles defending 1 (one) member of the Defenders against another genuine and well organised alliance.
I have made more point however defending my rival for top spot, against a dickless multi attack.

Can u see my point??? I would much rather have battled him (my rival) to a draw, but that was how it panned out

Do not let the multis take your eye off the ball. They are pathetic, usually young, and without much of a clue.

Shootem when you findem, postem if you suspectem,but dont let them interfere with your enjoyment of this great game.

hey hey. stop offending me. dont put me together with these multis. me and my friends just meet together afterschool before school everyday to play this game and therefore have the same time thing. its not fair to us that yall assume us all as multis. we are soul blade of aragoth, dragonslayer of daramon, hawkwarrior of blazingsky, and wingedangel of shiningcastle. so yall had better fix that statement about us. @ask4it: especially you. who are you in the game anyways?

Indeed... I think that all who aren't multies and were named, should reply whether in the
forum, or in-game, like famingphantom did...

And maybe Admin can post a list of the players who aren't multies, but look like they are...

For example, palyers using the same PC, etc.

P.S. Same fleet composition isn't always the key to multi-recognition... Neither are fleets
who add up to each other, or a coordinated assault, where both fleets come very quickly one after another...

For example, me and 2 of my allies use such tactics... Whitty saw what me and another
player did in the centre-chase... /if that other guy didn't have interceptors, we would've made a good ambush /
