Been noticing the last few days the ST server seems to be running very slow.
Anyone else notice it or is it just me? |

Indeed it's been disgustingly slow since i started playing again...
it's not a huge problem for simple playing, but for advanced manouvers the game is almost unplayable...
It took me about 15 minutes to drop a ship from a fleet(in transit) to my base(to cause a BP) the other day... an action that would normally take a matter of seconds...
Something really needs to be done... _________________ !! Total Ownage !! |

Often I log-on and get 2 or so tasks done (usually load fleets on right frame, probes on left, check and run) then the browser fails to load anymore, requiring I close it, open it back up and log back onto ST.
3x logons in the last hour btw :S. I also note the repeat log-ons others are having to do while watching the log-on monitor. :| _________________ "Hello, my friends, are you visible today? Yes.... some screens I have no problems with, like the fleet screen and the probe screen, but the research and the production screen for some reason take a few minutes to load. |

This is what I've been experiencing as well. fleet screen and probe screen seem ok but try to access the research or production screens takes a quite a long time relatively speaking. |

its probably the overwhelming amount of people returning. by overwhelming amount returning i mean 4 people.
but ive had the same problem, im just dealing with it. kinda sucks that i can't use my 10GB internet connection to the fullest when the server is laggy.
admin will fix it hopefully. _________________ -==Frag the Weak, Hurdle the Dead.==- |

I spoke with the admin this morning on msn, he promised he would look into it...
so in theory we should hear from him soon in here _________________ !! Total Ownage !! |

As with Zenachi, it MIGHT be a little faster on the research and production screens but still not up to speed yet. |

accessing research screen in left frame where probe data was displayed took around 15-20 seconds.
Better than the 1 minute+ a few days ago.
Still not as quick as it was a few weeks ago. |

We are uploading some scripts ... pls wait
update time: 0 sec.
So I guess admin is doing something.
Update: Great. It's working perfectly now on my PC. Thanks admin! _________________
