Why do you have to create drawbacks? I mean, you don't have to make it effectively useless /or at least, at the beginning of the round/ for most of the players...

Its not so much as a draw back because it will not only keep the multiaccounters at bay, but since these ships become so powerful it should before the players with much experience. Also, these ships are not to have the "fake mp" because these ships evolved from the same original ship. That wouldn't make sense

If the player s with bic score get this wouldnt you think that then they have an advantage to the noobs, when always evryoby told me that noob can win expert in this game.

yeah i agree. i'm not sure wat he is capable of doing so that makes it hard. @kever: I see wat your saying, but as i said on many of the ships, they can be easily overcome. So its not so much of a disadvantage

i started to lock the topics to lead the discussion here.



it is nice to see you discussing a lot about this... i still think it is not good for the game, because the evolving thing that leads to better ships always was a mess.
we tried it a few times and it only led to players-trying-to-make-their-ships-grow

so we decided that the evolving effect may only lead to ships, that are equal or less powerfull

how bout making these ships only avalible on pre-warp planets=) And it doesn't stay on one planet but hops around so that only a few people have this tech?
