| I have an important question can my fleets still defend my base or do i have to leave them at base to defend i want to make 2 fleets but i dont know if that i make 2 fleets and nothing at base i will have no defense so even if i have fleets will i have defense |

You can leave one fighter, one destroyer and one cruiser in your base fleet. This will protect you from ONE attack, you can then send off the rest of your ships in one two or three fleets as you so wish.

| i get that but will my fleet 1 and fleet 2 defend me if there at home and what happens if they send 2 fleet and i only protect against one |

if they are at home, they will defend you.
If you are attacked by more than one fleet, it is important to try move some ships back into your base bettween the attacks, in order to try and protect your buildings.

| thanks man that will help out alot i was wondering because i have a problem i didnt do anything but this guy is going to attack me as soon as i get out of newbe mode he will be here in 18 hrs and i was trying to figure out so i dont get hurt to bad but my ally is coming over to help he should make it with one hour to spear |

Try to build a vessel scan so you can see the incoming fleet and arrange your ships accordingly.
