| i submitted a new ship that i wanted to reserch. it was there under the requested reserch but when i came back a day later it was gone.?????? |

The research request goes to admin. It does not save as a message in your message box. Maybe it should. If you wanna keep copies of your ideas, maybe you should copy and paste the idea into something else.
Requesting a research does not mean that you can do it, only that the admins will look at it and see if it fits into the game.
The Admins get lots of ideas sent to them, so don't expect a reply too soon.
