ship balance of requested ships

first of all thanks for your suggestions.

there are already a lot of good new ship ideas and we will offer some of them soon on tech planets.

i would like to explain some suspects about the possibilities of ship construction:

all ships have to be balanced, so that they do not disturb the gameplay.
but it seems like everybody wants to have a class 4 ship that destroys the enemy mothership

if you look at the existing class 4 ships, you will notice that there are barely any ships with direct firepower (the only exception is the time slipper).

a class 4 ship, that destroys motherships would have the fleets stranded everywhere. we decided that this is not good for the gameplay.

class 4 ships are huge vessels that are not easily destroyed and usually they do not shoot. the largest ships with direct firepower are class 3. they are there in the fleet to protect the class 4 ships, so if you want to get destruction in class 4 you need class 3 ships.

in the future we will try to improve the research screen so you can choose from the existing modifiers and the manpower for the ship will be calculated as precise as possible. although this will be quite difficult coz a ship that creates another ship can have unforeseen effects that have to be reflected in the cost of manpower to keep it balanced.

if you request a research as long as it stays listed in your research screen, you will know, that your suggestion is still be considered.
