What is your opinion, how should people fight?

I think:
- attacking with about 5 fleets and leaving them on a planet is actually quite honourless and cowardly. The effect of this sort of attacks normally is not that the attackers get points but that the defenders leave the game after a while because it's no fun for them anymore.
- It's more fun for both sides if you mainly fight the fleets of the enemy; you have to think of good tactics and you get up to four times more points than the other way.
- If you attack a base you should let some time between the attacks so the enemy has time to rebuild (and you can get some points again).

At the beginning of the war I wanted to attack the Mercs but I really didn't find a target because there were allied fleets everywhere and no enemy bases...

god you are right, but:

the besieging is useless!

and your political situation is getting worse.

stop besieging now, or our revenge will lead to a complete destruction of 'bounty hunters'

you just avoid a confrontation that way, but you cannot win, points are telling this to everyone

I have not post in the forum sense this all start, for what was a requset to the S.M.Inc about adding new players as members, the ending of a nap,or some players feeling they had to many points and then it became a war on words ,may have started all this.
In last round when I and a other player had a disagreement we both agreed on coord to meet at and battle. For gang banging a players planet is not what the game is about and why the game programers let players form alliances and get to play with other from around the world or friends So I hope this can be a call to all players of the game to stop planet gang banging and let us all play the game the way it was meant to be played .

attacks with alliances on single planets is allowed i think and it's fun too.

maybe there is no morality in wars except the multi-account and sharing rule.

i always like to confront with a true player, but would think i am fooled if a multiplayer would attack me. anything else seem quite fair to me. and i think the usage of diplomatics is quite powerfull and part of the game.

lord phil you started a good point...

some comments:

1st: god is right, with everyone can ´play the way he likes. of course the word of dablackmob ("except the multi-account and sharing rule. ") counts here. those in brackets is cheating and lead to the deleting of the account(s)...
--> i just wonder why your alliance blames us for playing the way we want ???

2nd: god is right, but dablackmob and lord phil got the point in those multiplayer-besiegings. those tactics is nonsense and isnt profitable for the game. new players are bound to leave the game cause they are frustrated.
--> i thought they were a reason for the attacks or were it mainly the top ten you were interested
experienced players might be a little irritated but after all enjoy the chance of getting points (i think our alliance got at least 10k points due to the siege..). those multisieges are poor plannable cause its almost impossible to be so coordinated with many players as a single player is. he can quickly plan and decide how the siege goes on NOT the attackers ! and there is NO way to keep an experienced player down cause he knows how to break free and which are the threads to be ignored or not.
--> we must admin here that we ourself besieged a player about a week as part of a job. we took that job because we thought that player were experienced enough to handle the situation. and we denied to do it longer even though we were asked to ...

3rd: the game is about tactic and diplomacy. after playing a while every player has the chance to get into the top ten.

4th: most of the players i met are polite and i allways liked the the atmosphere of the game and its players. maybe thats worth more than being in the top ten.
lots of players have a "name" in the game but most of them due to their politeness and there diplomacy ...
--> even though i have to admit that rudeness will lead to a certain "name" in the game as well but it just wastes the time of the admins to keep the forum clean instead of inventing other fine nice features for us...

Lord Phil was being a diplomatic and saying what he felt. The experienced player like Captain, he's always being a diplomat that helps in the long run, but a war with words is nonsense and diplomacy can't work if your trying to make hot heads out of players calling them multi-account

I answered the multi account thing elsewhere, at no stage was any bounty hunter I know of so accused. Names were named however.Perhaps unwisely but nevertheless.
