this probe uses a special disruption wave that prevents any fleets from entering warp from the coords its at. the probe only has enough power to sustain this wave for 1 day.

This is quite easy to explain
If you have sent this probe to x/y/z, all fleets, that are at the same coords, can't fly away.
But this can only be done for one day, then there is no energy anymore and all fleets can travel again.
That's a really, really good idea, but could be quite annoying |

Maybe it should have a bigger radius. You can go now to x/y/z+1 and then wait a day and then attack

I think the radius is perfectly good.
The idea is that you prevent fleets from attacking you ( by pretending that they start from home ) or you can make them stop so that you can attack them, because that's what you wanna do anyway. So a bigger radius makes no sense, does it ? |

A bigger radius would make sense, but this was made for a pinpoint thing, not just to fire it at a random location and hope to snag a fleet. Staling a fleet can be very useful, if only for a day |

aa bigger radius will make such aa probe too powerfull. if you build 3 o these probes you can bring a players 3 days to stay were he is...that´s really hard. |

And u can build new ones ass the old ones are destroyed. So the building time wud need to be altest 3 days or u can keep enemy fleet FOREVER in its base

From the explain that say you can't take out a fleet from you base, but not say that can stay in the base and attack the fleet that stop. Or a fleet returning.
Is that can avoid you fleet get out. Why not create a counterpart of this probe. One probe that reduce the anti warp probe effect?
Is that is invented these probes is balanced.

i like it, but there could be two of them:
a stationary one that needs only 2 hours to build and is not moveable away from your planet, duration 24 h
and one that needs 1 day buildtime, but is moveable and has a duration of 6 h |

I agree with the Admin. That would make the game a hell of alot more interesting.

cause you can also nail a fleet to a certain place if you use a mantis to destroy his mothership

Its ok, but if he is on the way to destroy your homeworld and you catch him and keep him somewhere then mesage your alliance and they destroy him it would be helpful, i dont mind it, but its powerful with how long it can hold the people, i think 12hrs would be more reasonable, cause then you have to put in strategy _________________ 11/11/11 |
